LADY TAVERNERS DOUBLE HEADER – TWO TONS FOR LUCIA KENDALL

In a double header of Lady Taverners U13 and U15 action, Lucia Kendall hit consecutive centuries for our girls.    On Friday evening the 2016 U13 National Champions posted 239 for 3 in their 20 overs against Chippenham U13s, with Lucia hitting a career best (so far!) of 134 in a 213 opening stand with Maisie Ayers (50), including 6 maximums that had the seniors in the nets ducking and diving.  Chippenham batted gamely and finished on 107 for 4, the St Cross wicket takers with two each were Meg Featherstonehaugh on debut and Maisie.
